"We had our special day on the 26th October 2021, delighted to say we wouldn’t have changed a thing. All went perfectly thanks to the amazing staff in the Conyngham arms and Boyne House, and in particular Tracie. Finding a wedding venue in the middle of Covid was difficult, we were picking blindly as such but Tracie reassured us that she had the right venue for us in the Boyne House. With an intimate number of guests and almost half of them children the Boyne house was more than ideal. Gerry and I wanted to ensure our guests with children could relax and enjoy the day and evening and the Boyne house more than met our expressed expectations. The function room was ideal for hosting our meal and also allowed for relaxing in the evening. The children played for the entire day and evening safely and in our full view in the courtyard. We hired a children's entertainer who set up comfortably in one of the generous sized bedrooms. All the guests were blown away by their accommodation and facilities the house had to offer. The function menu available in the venue was top class with plenty of variety and delivered on taste and quality on the day. I would highly recommend the venue for an intimate wedding reception particularly where children feature."

“Boyne House Slane takes beautiful accommodation to another level. Conveniently situated in the heart of the historic Boyne Valley our wedding guests who had travelled from overseas were centrally located for numerous sites of significant historical and cultural interests. Access to/from the airport was direct by road and secure parking available. Quite simply the staffs can do, cheerful attitude without exception meant that it is very hard to find fault. I would recommend this hotel on all levels and am glad to commend the team that work here.”

"Shane and I got married in Tankardstown on a Friday in May. For the days running up to the wedding day and the day after we stayed at the beautiful Boyne House in the village of Slane. The ten rooms in the house perfectly suited to accommodate all our immediate family and I was so delighted we could all be together for the days surrounding the wedding day. They were all very impressed with Boyne House and it was exclusively ours for the few days which was just fantastic.
The rooms were all stunning and decorated beautifully. It was the perfect place to get ready on the morning of the wedding as there was so much space for me to get lost in one part of the house and Shane in another. We had a lovely relaxing morning getting ready for the big day. The gorgeous rooms were perfect for wedding pictures and my photographer absolutely loved it.
The house is staffed by those in the Conyngham Arms and they looked after us so well. Anything we asked for was no problem, they were so lovely and accommodating.
The experience there for our four days in Slane was absolutely fantastic and all my family commented on how perfect it was. It is looked after by those that run Tankardstown House and the Conyngham Arms and Sarah Jane who looked after the reservations for Boyne House was so professional and helpful. All the staff are experienced, competent and just so nice. It was a five star experience and Shane and I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding in Slane so special!”
